The only disadvantage I see about this dehumidifier is that is does take a while to fill the tank up with water. I believe it almost take about 3 to 4 days to fill the tank up. It also depends on your degree in weather humidity. It will fill the tank faster if the temperature is very hot outside like above 80's degree. Like I said before, it’s is used for small area only, I don't recommend it being used in large area of your home. It works best in small confine space like bathroom or musty closet area.
